Welcome to St. Michael’s Preschool

Our preschool is a mission of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Austin, Texas. Located in the rolling hills of West Austin on Loop 360, our church and preschool offer a beautiful background in which to celebrate God’s glory. Less than 10 miles from downtown, our grounds are a quiet retreat for students to play, laugh and learn.

Our Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool curriculum is based in part on the following principles:

• Children must have some control over the direction of their learning;
• Children must be able to learn through experiences of touching, moving, listening, seeing, and hearing;
• Children have a relationship with other children and with material items in the world that children must be allowed to explore and
• Children must have endless ways and opportunities to express themselves.
