Robby Vickery
Executive Director
Robby Vickery has been the pastor at St. Michael’s since 1990. After graduating college with an engineering degree, Robby was called to attend the Virginia Theological Seminary. He has been described as “a good example of the Episcopal Church at its best, seeking to find the middle way, to include everyone.” He has said that his goal has always been as a priest, to listen, teach and be a wholesome example. He has encouraged the parish to participate in and has actively participated himself in outreach projects at El Buen Samaritano, renovated homes for the poor in Austin and elsewhere, and challenged the parish to become part of the Interfaith Hospitality Network.

Becky Brindley
Secretary
Becky Brindley was a leader in Temple ISD for many years serving as President of the Board of Trustees, president of several PTO’s, and a member of advisory and strategic planning boards throughout the district. She served as Director of McGowen-Stephen School of Christ Episcopal Church (now Christ Church School) in Temple. She has served on the boards promoting fine arts and quality public education in Texas. Becky earned a BFA in Art History from the UT- Austin and a MA from the University of Houston/Clear Lake in Behavioral Sciences. She is also a graduate of Leadership Texas and Texas Association of School Boards Leadership Training program

Eric Doyal
Representative from the Vestry
Eric Doyal has 25 years’ experience in manufacturing, logistics management and business development. Doyal is an award winning inventor and entrepreneur with in-depth knowledge of the home improvement market. He designed a building and home improvement product that speeds deck construction and provides an improvement in water drainage between deck layers. The patented Deck SpacerT received the Hanley-Wood New Product of the Year Award 2005 and is currently sold through Home Depot and other regional home improvement chains in the northeast US. Eric received his bachelor’s degree in International Studies at Southwest Texas University. He is an active volunteer in his church and community youth league sports. He resides in Austin, Texas with his wife and three children.

Jennifer Blanco
Parent Representative
Jennifer Blanco enrolled her son at St Michael’s Episcopal Day School last year after relocating to Austin from Seattle, Washington. Jennifer has 15 years of experience in Human Resources and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. She has spent the last 12 years of her career at Microsoft Corporation as a Senior HR Manager where she specializes in leadership and organizational development, talent management and coaching. Jennifer is married, has one son and another on the way.

Debbie Vickery
Liaison to the Vestry
Debbie has a B.S. in Child Development and Family Relationships from the University of Texas in Austin and over 30 years experience in Christian Education. She has been running the program at St. Michael’s since the mid-90s, and her ministry description includes children’s and youth Sunday School, Vacation Bible Camp, overseeing the Nursery program and its staff, and organizing Children’s Choir. She is the mother of three young men and is an experienced advocate for children with learning differences.

Hilary Bellm
Parent Representative
Hilary has 5 year-old twin boys who have attended St. Michael’s since it opened in 2010. She has enjoyed seeing the school grow and looks forward to the day when her 8 month-old daughter can start in the 2-year old program. Hilary and her husband, Brent, are memebers of St. Micahel’s Episcopal Church. She earned her undergraduate degree in International Relations from Princeton University and and M.B.A from Stanford Unviersity. Hilary loves travel and has lived in Europe for several years but is happy to have relocated to Austin in August 2010. She has worked as a management consultant and manager of professional development for a global consulting firm but is now filling her days as a full-time mom.
